Hello and welcome to my website. I'm Heleena and I've been a counsellor / therapist / practitioner for twenty years. I am based in Greatworth, just six miles from Banbury.

Enabling people to create a new zest for life brings much joy and pleasure to me. Crisis and worry can create distress and grief in our life journey; and we can get stuck in the 'grief' or sadness.

This is a time when counselling and therapy may help restore full enjoyment to life with all of its potential. Maybe now the time is right for you to take The First Step

I am fully committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe and calm environment where confidentiality is fully respected. An initial session will offer an opportunity for you to share your concerns. It takes courage and commitment to consider counselling but I believe it is well worth the investment. I work with individuals and couples across all age groups, on an open-ended basis or for an agreed length of time. You may also want to take a look at my FAQ page on this website.

Availability

I am available Monday through Saturday and I work during the day and early evenings up to 8pm.

I seek to see all new clients within 48 hours of the initial contact.

I have many years experience in the following areas:

  • Work related issues e.g Bullying in the work-place
  • Relationship dynamics and ruptures, divorce and grief
  • Panic Attacks and stress symptoms
  • Anxiety and fears
  • Bereavement / loss of any kind
  • Depression and despair
  • Addiction / eating disorders etc
  • Trauma - Post traumatic stress disorder (specific training in this)
  • Students in Psychotherapy / Counselling: for their personal therapy
  • Supervision for other counsellors / therapists

Location

The journey to Greatworth is only 4 miles from Brackley and 8 miles from Banbury. It is peaceful, private and away from the rush and bustle. Greatworth is a small rural village, with easy parking in the county of South Northamptonshire ~ just a mile off the A422.

I also have rooms available in Banbury for appointments, please let me know if this would be more convenient for you.

M40 Junction 10, north of Bicester and signposted for Banbury ~ ten minutes drive

M1 Junction 16 signposted for the A43 to Brackley and Oxfordshire ~ twenty minutes drive.
